I'm not one to get hooked on short run silly anime, but Rocket Girls hooked me on episode two. The only other short run anime I got hooked on was Gunslinger Girls. Yukari is a serious but sweet young lady. She is what makes the series work. You were reading my mind that her and Norman might get together, but you have to remember she is only sixteen and he would be mid-twenties. We both have the same views on the school scenes. the old bat needed to be kicked down the stairs or stop landing the orbiters in the fountain. It got old real fast. I'm saving the twelve episodes and I'll probably buy the DVDs soon. And I also hope for a second season. I totally agree with you.
