Konno Asami, Japanese Idol, former member of Morning Musume.

     My next entry in my Japanese idol category is Konno Asami, she was 5th generation member of Morning Musume and a member of Hello! Project. She was born on May 7, 1987 in Sapporo Japan, she became a member of Morning Musume in August 2001 by competing in a audition, the producers chose her to become a member of the group because of her future potential. Konno was a member of many of the concert sub-groups of Morning Musume, she was considered to be one of the most athletic and intelligent members of Morning Musume, she competed in track and field (1500 meters), and she also did very well in Japanese variety shows. Konno quit Morning Musume and Hello! Project  in July 2006 in order to study for her college entrance exams. In December of 2006 it was announced that Konno had been accepted to Keio University, Keio University is a private college and considered one of the very best in Japan, two former Prime Ministers and many high ranking political officals attended school there. In the summer of 2007 she announced that she would rejoin Hello! Project to continue her singing career while still attending Keio University. What I find enjoyable about Konno is in addition to her good singing voice, she is very good looking in a cute and wholesome way.
